I was drawn to occupational therapy because the treatment sessions were all tailored to working on each patient's daily skills.
After seeing an OT in action, I knew what I wanted to do—I wanted to make everybody feel like somebody in a world that tries to make everybody feel like nobody.
A cousin's congenital hand deformity led me to my first experience with OTs, and ultimately to my career as a hand therapy clinical specialist in OT.
I choose OT for one simple reason... to change the world, one person at a time.
